24 hours ago we had this crazy idea. . .
"Let's go to the New Moon showing at 5 AM!" and "Let's not sleep until we get home from the movie!"
The night officially began at 6:00pm! I was finished with my night class and me and Jessie headed to the mall. We had an interesting encounter with some guys in the parking lot and then we went into the mall and walked around. After an hour or so we decided to check out the movie theatre to see if any die hard New Moon fan were out there waiting in line for their midnight movie!
I couldn't believe how many peole were out there! There were lines of people in the parkig lot with chairs, blankets and food! It was insane! It was only 7 o clock!!!
Before going home we stopped by the gas station to pick up some Mt.Dew to help keep us awake! Then we got home and fo course watched Twilight, and basically just hung out! We played around with Leesh's card board cut out of Edward, and just enjoyed the night!
It was definately a lot harder than I thought it would be to stay awake. And I will admit that I feel asleep for probably about an hour, but at 4 o clock it was time to head out! When we got there, there was a small line already and I seriously surprised! I didn't realize that some people are as crazy as we are, although Im sure a lot of them woke up for it and didn't stay up all night.
By the time the movie started I was so tired, but it was definately worth it! New Moon was so much better than Twilght! It may be becasue of the fact that I actually read this one before it came out, but either way it was amazing!!! I want to go see it again!!!
